Quick Tip #6 - Refresh Metadata to see Field Changes

Have you ever tried to bring in a new field from Salesforce but it’s not showing up? Or you are mapping a picklist value but don’t see all of the updated options?

Refresh Metadata

Often, you can fix this by refreshing the metadata on the SFC Connector:

1. Go to Connectors 2.0
2. Find your Salesforce connection
3. Click the 3 dots
4. Select Refresh Metadata

This will manually force a data refresh, allowing you to see the most updated changes.

For new fields, another thing you'll need to do is go to Rules Engine → Rule Settings  → Permissions (Load Actions) and add the specific field you want to bring into Gainsight.
